Dr. Nankervis is a graduate of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his surgical residency at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine/East End Health Alliance. He is a board-certified general surgeon and a Diplomat of the American Board of Osteopathic Surgery. He has a special interest and expertise in trauma/acute care surgery and wound care. Along with his responsibilities to the trauma program at Peconic Bay Medical Center, he is working to develop a Wound Care Center to serve the East End of Long Island. He is also an active teacher and core faculty for the General Surgery Residency at Peconic Bay Medical Center.
