Dr. Barbara Hirsch, M.D. M. S. , F.A.C.E. is an endocrinologist and partner at North Shore Diabetes and Endocrine Associates/PRINE. Dr. Hirsch is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra North Shore-Northwell . She attended SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine, completed an Internal Medicine Internship at Long Island Jewish Hospital, an Internal Medicine residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital and a Fellowship in Endocrinology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She holds a MS in Narrative Medicine from Columbia University. Dr. Hirsch is board certified in the areas of Internal Medicine as well as Endocrinology and Metabolism. She is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and member of American Diabetes Association. She is a member of the Humanities and Medicine Advisory Board at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra North Shore-Northwell
