Dr. Richard Glick is Associate Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics and Attending Pediatric Surgeon at Cohen Children's Medical Center where he also serves as Director of Pediatric Surgical Oncology and Surgeon Champion of Pediatric National Surgical Quality Improvement Program. He is a General Pediatric Surgeon but has a special focus on children with solid tumors and has been involved in and has sat on committees in Children's Oncology Group for many years. He participates in the development of new protocols for children with kidney tumors. He also works on Quality Improvement for the Division of Pediatric Surgery. Dr. Glick is from Montreal and earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from McGill University graduating first in his medical class. He then trained in General Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical Center with a research fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. After that, he completed a fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at Texas Children's Hospital at Baylor College of Medicine prior to coming to Cohen Children's.
