BIO

Kathryn Mirra, Ph.D., MS-HPPL is board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology. She earned a bachelor's degree in Psychology at Loyola College in Maryland and a master's degree and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Suffolk University. She completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She completed a master's degree in Health Professions Pedagogy and Leadership at Hofstra University in 2018.

Dr. Mirra works for Northwell Health in outpatient neurorehabilitation at Transitions of Long Island. She conducts neuropsychological evaluations to better understand a person's current cognitive strengths and weaknesses to inform care and to provide suggestions that may be helpful for reintegration and in daily life. Clinical and research interests include cognitive impact of neurological illness and injury, wellness, and caregiver concerns.

She collaborates with the neuropsychology track of the American Psychological Association (APA) accredited clinical psychology internship program at Northwell Health - Long Island Jewish Medical Center-Zucker Hillside Hospital, as well as clinically with the Northwell Concussion Program.
