Serving Northwell Health/Cohen Children's Medical Center as Chief of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, Joel R. Rosh, MD brings more than three decades of clinical, research and administrative experience. Dr. Rosh is an internationally recognized expert in Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and has led numerous clinical studies and participated in several NIH funded, multi-center, translational studies of pediatric IBD. He is extensively published in a variety of conditions beyond IBD especially those in pediatric hepatology and the functional GI disorders. With a practice philosophy that employs the biopsychosocial model of health and wellness, Dr. Rosh is an experienced builder of programs that have emphasized the need to help the total person rather than the “patient”.
