Dorota Gruber, DHSc, MS, CGC Assistant Chief, Pediatric Cardiogenomics Assistant Professor in the Departments of Pediatrics and Cardiology, Zucker School of Medicine Assistant Investigator, Molecular Institute Robert S. Boas Center for Genomics & Human Genetics Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research Dr. Gruber is a clinical researcher investigating the genetic basis of congenital heart disease. Her research objective is to integrate careful clinical characterization of patients and families with cutting-edge genetic analyses in order to gain insight into the molecular mechanisms underlying heart disease and discover new genetic syndromes. In her position as Assistant Chief, Pediatric Cardiogenomics, she is leading the development, provision, and oversight of genetic counseling services within Program for Cardiac Genetics, Genomics and Precision Medicine at Northwell Health, NY. As Director of Cardiogenomics Research she oversees the research arm of the Program.
