Augusto Maldonado, MD, is an Adjunct Professor at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, he is based in Quito-Ecuador. He is also Full Time Profesor at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito.

Dr. Maldonado has conducted research in the areas of emergency medicine in Quito- Ecuador and has special interest in Ultrasound in emergency Medicine as well as in critical care in emergency medicine.
